Absolutely, Drazen was probably the best Euro player ever until Nikola/Luka. Maybe Jon Scott will read this and weigh in to verify. But in my memory (which isn't 100% after this long) Drazen Petrovic lit us up in an exhibition in the 1987 season. That was my first semester at UK.

Drazen Petrovic was better than any basketball player that come out of Europe . He died early on a stupid accident. People were saying that he was the best shooter in the nba.

If this guy would be like Drazen ā¦ oh manā¦.. we would be so setā¦. Unfortunately, he is not. He is 6ā3 guard with a lot of international experience, he played for Serbia national team at many under 21 WC and Euro games. Solid player, fast, good passer, probably a little better than Kriisa less the head case.
Not sure I'd say he's the "final Piece" but possibly a good backup point guard option. Still need the high volume shooter.
