Cats played to expectations for the first time all season. Still room for improvement. Could have won everyone some chalupas if we hit 100, or is that not a rule for us?

That week off did wonders. Was there a players only meeting? Did Collins make everyone run Mt. Trashmore? Did everyone get laid? Was Chicago State just really, really bad? I don't care. I just know that for the first time this year, we had the first sighting of the real Northwestern Wildcats. After a slow and sleepy start to the season, I expect NU to play this well the rest of the way out. Anything less than this is unacceptable.

There you are! I was wondering if the cockroach traps were working, but apparently the infestation remains.

CC's cupcake fetish has zero bearing on Holy Cross or the NIT. No one is interested in you or Bill Comedy. Don't talk about "us" as if you were part of Wildcat Nation. Go back to Princeton or Holy Cross or where else it is you call home.

Too bad Holy Cross doesn't play Chicago State. I'm guessing Chicago State wins.

1). MVS was an NCAA tournament team that year.

2). And we didn’t schedule them, we drew them randomly.

Something tells me Chicago State ain’t gonna be dancing this year.

If you’re ok with CC playing 349 sos twice in a row, that’s fine. Just hope it doesn’t keep these deserving seniors out of the nit again.

Mississippi Valley State was an NCAA TORUNAMENT TEAM LAST YEAR? ROFL! That must be news to Texas Southern, who won the conference tournament last year and three of the last four years:

MVSU is ranked behind Chicago State in KenPom this year, and is the second worst team in the entire country this year according to KenPom

And I have no idea what nonsense you are spewing about 349th SOS. Even excluding BIG opponents, our current noncon, even after playing Chicago State is nowhere close to that, is better than a number of BIG teams, and will only improve from here. Not even counting BIG opponents, we've already played #17 Texas Tech, and #32 Creighton, and will also be playing #28 Oklahoma. Is Holy Cross playing anyone of that caliber? Did you have a nice time in Northern Ireland?

One correct statement you may have made in this mess of a post. If we make the Dance again, than "yes", we will not have made the NIT-- again!

Pro tip; when you troll, try not to make it so easy for others to embarrass you....

Purdue beat them by 69. We beat them by 65. After the fact, a pretty accurate indicator of our Purdue score, when we also played very well in many respects.

Me: Mississippi Valley State says "hi" (since they are worse, along with several other teams) per KenPom.
You: MVSU was an NCAA tournament team "that" year (whatever "that" year means)
Me: What does that silly statement have to do with MVSU being bad THIS year?
