I was right there with ya.....on the opposite side. lol I was too much of a chicken to post a prediction for that game, but I won't deny that I really thought OU was in a load of trouble going into that game. And I loved every minute of being wrong as well!! lol

I wouldn't make the mistake of discounting how good Alabama just because they played an inferior opponent this late in the season....Alabama can bring it when they want to.

OU's isn't immune to that....kinda like Clemson last year?? So I wouldn't doubt OU benefited from Alabama being a bit down in that game. Either way, a win is a win.

I never went so far as to say that OU would win that game, but anyone that knows anything about football knew OU matched up better than most against Bama that season. I didn't think OU would have the horses to win, but I knew they'd at least make a game. Finebaum was saying stuff like OU didn't even belong on the same field, would be a 40-50 point blow out, etc.
