Adcoop will be along any minute to argue that she made the right call.

Cobie will follow up with an argument that the strike zone looks different to women than men so she can't be compared to a male umpire.
Wrong. I read this and was going to let this go, but you brought my name in it. So, I will give my opinion. Men make this same error or worse all the time. So, really it's nothing. However, guys like you are going to make it something because of whatever hang-up you have against women in sports. Did you guys play any sport? I did and I am just not threatened by women being included in sport like some of you. No, they are not going to do it like men. They are not built to do it like us. However, where does excluding people stop. So, guys under 5'6" can't play or call a game. They are too small. 5'8" the limit and so on. You guys are the one always posting about women. I only comment every now and then to find out what's your deal. You must be ashamed of it because you never answer with anything that makes sense.

The camera angle is right of center. The umpire is center of center. Arm chairs are right of center......perhaps an accurate call. Inconclusive at best. YMMV....

Wrong. Multiple posters have answered you multiple times, you just refuse to acknowledge the answers.

But we can add "threatened by women" to your list of lame shaming attempts to try to get people to stop talking about subjects that upset you.

First it was "you must secretly like it to talk about it", to the more recent "guys who talk bad about girls sports are out of shape and would be beat by a girl". And then "if they talk about it, its like they were dumped". Now people are "threatened by women"? Pathetic.

What did the simulated strike zone show? Is that also right of center?

Very prophetic. He seems unnaturally fixated on women's sports. Maybe he's one of those who secretly yearns to be a woman?

( that's how that lame tactic goes, right?)

How can I acknowledge what has never been spoken. I get the difference in athleticism, but that is a "Duh" response and not a response that should elicit several threads. As I have said before, I don't like soccer. However, the lack of a preference doesn't trigger me that I feel the need to start threads and talk about it all the time. My question is if you don't like it so much, why are you always watching it or looking for clips on it?

i am not starting the women's threads. You are or you're running to defend the starting of them. I really don't prefer to be involved in threads with the likes of you or Piscis, but you both have my name in your mouth.

Hit dog will holler. I have been on you hoping you would see how pathetic this is. However, dense minds don't listen to reason. So, I promise to leave you alone. Unless, you mention me behind my back like a Middle School girl again.

How can I acknowledge what has never been spoken.

From a previous thread:

I personally can see a divide between interest in the WNBA and interest in the clown show of them demanding equal pay to the NBA.

Or a difference between being interested in watching a game vs finding entertainment out of the WNBA finally finding someone people want to watch, and them doing everything they can to cut her down.

Few people are talking about the WNBA as it relates to the game. The WNBA has become a topic of discussion for non-WNBA fans b/c they continue to assert and demand validation for the perceived (but unfounded) worth and value. It's less of a sports discussion and more of a social one.

So, its been pointed out more than once, by more than one poster. You just refuse to acknowledge it because you disagree. And you will continue to ignore the reasons, just like I said you would.

So much for "never been spoken".

And yet here you are, over and over.

Definitely an unnatural fixation. Is it your cross dressing fetish that causes it?

Lmao.

You being "on me" hasn't been real impressive @adcoop. You flipped out when I pointed out your race baiting, got so flustered you couldn't even respond to the right poster in a previous women's sports thread, and now are just flat out lying about other people's comments.

So, @adcoop, you'll forgive me if I dont care in the least if hou try to get "on me" anymore. You're pretty pathetic at it, @adcoop.

:)

To be fair, there are missed calls every game by male umps. But when you make such big deal out of her "historic" promotion, something like that make it looks silly. To be honest, I'm stunned MLB didn't orchestrate a fastball down the middle on the first pitch with the batter not swinging so she could call an easy strike and make her look like the best umpette ever.

One thing's for sure, players and managers will not be allowed to argue with her and announcers won't be able to criticize her for bad calls like they do when they crucify male umps.

Yeah, it's pretty sad when the phrase "you can't say that" has become so common in a country with supposed free speech.

Women and minorities are never going to be taken seriously as long as they are protected from any criticism of how they do their jobs and given unwarranted praise because of their sex/race by the PC/woke crowd.

Won't happen. It will be expected that she is treated exactly like a man on the job, but without being treated like a man.
I don't know about baseball, but the female referees in the NBA get cursed out all the time. Chris Paul is notorious for it.

I'm sure players will make remarks after bad calls. That's a bit different though than a manager running out of the dugout to have a one-on-one, nose-to-nose shouting match with the ump. I just don't see it happening, at least not until long after the novelty wears off.

How did I get lumped into this one Botman?

For correcting 18IsTheMan on his bizarre comparison between the WNBA and the UFC in the ongoing female pinata thread?

Sorry if my exposing you has come to this.

However, there needs to be awareness that you use multiple accounts to form multiple arguments and largely waste people's time with your folly. :)
