Well, this may be NU's last best chance for a win this season. Minnesota has lost five of six and is just 1-6 on the road in the Big Ten. The Gophers beat NU by 11 up in Minneapolis, but NU was without Turner and Buie in that game.

This is an important game for both teams. The Cats need this win to notch their first win in six weeks avoid their first 11-game losing streak in 20 years. Minnesota, though, is a desperate team that pretty much needs to win out if they want to make the tournament this season.

Something's gotta give.

FYI, GarPax is in the house today from the Bulls. Not sure if they're here to check out Turner or Spencer. ;)

Jeff Goodman is here on media row, too. That's a surprise.

Foul on Beran on a jump ball. 25 repeatedly jabbed Yound in the chest while Young has the ball, 21 literally shoves Nance out of his way to clear room, foul on Spencer on a jump ball.

Agreed on the Spencer jump ball. That was bogus and right in front of the guy.

Don't know what the rebounding difference is now, but it was 10 for Minny, about the same number of points in their lead.

50% from three, not all wide open, for Minn.

They’re getting some once rolls and bounces.

cats are at 18%, not all contested. Not gonna win much like that.

Ends up a half of more of the same. Dig a hole, now, hopefully, keep fighting and being pesky

44 points allowed, not good
