Well, there are already more students than there were on Monday night - which isn't saying much, I know. There are several rows of students behind the east basket. Most of them are wearing chef hats, for some reason. There are lots more people in the seats behind the basket, too. That was a sea of empty blue plastic against St. Peter's. I see some Creighton fans here and there, but this crowd is going to be a thousand or two bigger than Monday.

ESPN's BPI has NU's chances of winning at 70.1%, almost exactly the same as its FPI has football beating Minnesota (70.6%).

Law twisted his ankle on that drive to the basket. Looks like he's OK -- just ticked off. Just tightened his shoe up on the bench and rejoined the huddle. The bigger issue is Lindsey with two fouls 4:20 into the game.

Defense is still struggling. We are switching screens and guys are getting lost.

I think NU needs to add some size out there. Creighton is getting inside to the rim pretty easily.

Hegner looked like it was something serious. Losing him would be a big blow.

Creighton is shooting 63 percent and has 14 points in the paint.

Greetings from one of the worst arenas not named the Metrodome.

This is starting about as well as the last two games have looked.

Maybe we should go to zone. We can't stay with them in man.

A few of these Creighton possessions it’s like NU just decided to take a breather. The step back to let a guy shoot an uncontested Three was something. Then two just deer in the headlights plays for layups.

This timeout huddle is right in front of me. I thought Collins might light into them a little bit for their defense, but he's very calm, drawing up plays on the whiteboard and teaching. No panic, no emotion.

Things got pretty frantic and ragged out there. NU needs to slow the pace.

If Ash can't make a wide open 3 in his third season, then he really is of no help.

NU is in danger of getting run out of here early. Creighton is at 44 points with 5:10 left. Lindsey has three fouls.

Collins needs to not be stubborn here and go to a zone. Its obvious we can't guard these guys straight up.
