I'm courtside at Welsh-Ryan. It looks like there are quite a few Boiler fans here -- I wasn't sure if they would come out or not, given their disappointing season. Student sections look sparse as always 11 minutes before tip.

I think NU has a shot tonight. Purdue is just 4-6 in the Big Ten and have yet to win a conference game on the road in five tries. They lost in Lincoln; why not Evanston?

Just looking at the starting lineups: Purdue has three starters from Chicagoland: Trevion Williams, Evan Boudreax and Nojel Eastern. NU doesn't have any.

Well cats are wearing purple at home . Let's hope this brings a little luck and we win tonight and spend a week planning for the rest of the season

Purdue and Northwestern are a combined 6 of 21 from the floor.

NU has four turnovers and three baskets at the under 12 media timeout.

Was hoping we had some inspiration on offense and could open a lead. Against a team that won’t put 80 on the board. But we are cold. And so are they. First to 60 wins.

Looking good so far. Cats are scrapping and up 7 with 3.5 minutes to go in the first.

Jones is looking really solid in the offensive post. Our front court looks set for a while.
