I think everyone here is underestimating Pat Spencer and what he brings to the table on the court and in the locker room. He is a winner and the Cats will win this year.
I don't understand this mindset as a Northwestern fan. If you are going to be negative a two full years before wanting to be woken up, then perhaps the time would be better spent finding another team to root for.
I'm kind of excited about Ryan Young. He looks great big and moves well. Jones too.
I don't think either will be a threat on offense this season, but a force on the boards and competent defense without tons of fouls would be an ok first year replacement of Dererk.
