First team Out - April 27 Projections

UK is the first team out of the field in both the D1 baseball projection and the Baseball america projection. This is disappointing as I had hoped that a series win over Bama would put us in. Now, this means that we absolutely need to win two out of our last four series and we need to avoid being swept.

Also, here are teams we need to root against, as we are competing with them for at-large spots:

-NC State
-UNC
-Georgia
-Alabama
-LSU
-Clemson

I respectfully disagree with 14. I think to be absolutely certain, 15-15 is a must. I think 14 CAN get you in but you’ll need help. Get to 14 and lose the first game in the SEC tournament, I feel Kentucky stays home. Especially if you lose to someone like Georgia or LSU if the records are similar. But let’s buckle up and watch this ride! Go Cats!!

For sure, 15 is a sure thing. 14 is most of the time. 13 is a rarity. So 14 or 15 is best. Luckily, we haven't really lost any bad games like we did at one point.
