FL is still breaking in Del Rio. He made some awful throws Sat and didn't look all that sharp.

10 may be about right. But then again, 30 wouldn't surprise me either.

Average qb's tend to look like heisman candidates against our defense.

If we dont improve on offense a lot this week this game should come down to the wire like the last 2 years. Defense looks solid again but the offense needs to get in gear.

Lol easy money. Florida will beat UK as bad as they did during the Tebow years. Florida by at least 24.

Can Del Rio take a snap then make a handoff to a RB? That simple move will get them 300+ yards vs UK's D.

We have the antidote for an offense that is struggling....just dial up a few simple running plays.

We weren't able to run worth a dang against one of the worst defenses in all of FBS last season until late in the game. Not sure if the O line is still a weak point in the run game or they just weren't motivated for the opponent. That was like the 8th straight game our offense has looked like crap. The new QB is an improvement as far as being more aware in the pocket but we won't scare anyone right now with our passing game. We never even stretched the field against UMass. I didn't get to see too much of KYs offense because Southern Miss usually had the ball when I flipped the channel during the break.

I'd bet UF and never even get anxious. We'll have a ST breakdown that will cost us points, a critical TO and a run defense that couldn't stop Trinity. I'm guessing the 10 will be covered with time to spare in the first quarter.

Even though UF didn't look good vs UMass, I think it really will be as simple as handing the ball off for them in this game.

Trinity's really good. There are a lot of lesser talented high school teams we couldn't stop either. Comparing us in any way to Trinity is unfair to Trinity lol.

I actually think UK's offense is in better shape than UF if Barker takes care of the football. Front 7 needs to do a better job stuffing the run and getting in the backfield for a win though.

I've never in nearly 40 years of life bet on a sporting event. But this may be my first time. I see no way they don't cover if this is the line.

They may not throw a pass. Why would they?

If we had a defense it might be close. If you think we wilted last Saturday, wait until our team gets in mid and late afternoon Florida heat and humidity. The Gators will run us all the way back to Georgia. Sad but true.

Here's your problem that you haven't carefully thought about. UMass has a better defense than Kentucky and you put up 24 points on them. Here is the recipe for success for Del Rio...hike the ball, turn and hand the ball to whatever running back you'd like, and gain 8-10 yards a carry. Do the same thing over and over again.

Kentucky football will need to play better in order to score more points than UF.

I've seen another line at 16.5

That's right. It's UK+17 now.

My bad, my bad. It was late last night and I checked Vegas insider right before I went to bed. I apparently mistook that "VI Consensus" line for a real betting line. In theory, it is supposed to mean somebody, somewhere actually offered this line but many times you simply cannot find it (at least from their listed sports books, both Vegas and off shores).

Anyway the real opening line is FL -17.

Peace

The game will effectively be over mid-2nd qtr.

45-10 Gators and it won't be as close as the score would indicate.

Unless your QB forgets how to hand the ball off I don't think it'll be much of a problem.
