One’s a boat. The other is an airplane.

Even more. No knows for sure what happened or where it happened to mh370. Everyone knew what happened and where it happened with the titanic. We even knew the general location of the titanic wreckage but technology was yet to catch up to find it. One was carrying thousands of people the other a couple hundred. One hit an iceberg the other likely deliberate. The only real comp is that they were both some sort of transport operation, people died and we couldn’t locate either one for a time.

Titanic captain was pretty damn deliberate with the speed he was going in the fog in a known ice field. Might call it suicide.

Also, both were made of metal. Don't forget that important point. Different metals, for sure, but metals nonetheless.
