Makes me wonder news we have on Marstellar and 285.

Even without those two, it is a pretty tough lineup with 9 likely NCAA qualifiers if nothing changes. The x-factors; can Pic get on the stand, can Brock recover mentally to Wrestle like he can, how will 65 fill up with Ringer moving on, can Weigel keep improving.

If all of those are answered in the affirmative, we are in great shape.

marsteller is moving on. shafer is giving it a go @ 285 but not sure why he's not mentioned in the report. there have been a few visits from possible transfers on campus who can lobby for the 285 spot. who knows how everything will pan out but know things are in the works.

There’s a lot to get excited about with Rogers down at 165. It’s a common-sense move for the Cowboys, especially in the wake of Chance Marsteller's likely departure.
Is the Marsteller transferring a for sure deal now?

ITS NOT OUT IN THE OPEN YET BUT THE INFORMATION HAS BEEN LEAKED PER SE.
Marsteller gone but with the addition of Jacobe Smith it looks like the lineup will be solid around that weight in the years to come with Chandler and /or Jacobe at those two weights. Schafer looked more than representative in the recent free style tournament and I believe he will not be the only new heavyweight in the room.

I'm hoping Jacobe can come in and redshirt, to have two years after crutch leaves. I think Rogers can easily make 65. He sure looked small at 74.

I'm a big Schaefer fan, as I know the kid personally. If he can get big enough, he sure has the skills to be more than serviceable. He has to keep his head on straight though. I don't see much help in the room, barring a transfer, if he's not the guy.

watching jacobe wrestle this year he seems small for 174 as well. i know he's short an stocky but most guys he wrestled this year were taller an seem to have bigger frames. kyle crutch is short an stocky but he has always seemed to fit the weight perfectly

Wish we could of picked up Beau Guffey from Tuttle. Kid is a damn animal. Kevin ward is an outstanding coach and found the needle in the haystack here.
