Playing at WB is a big positive for us based on FL history under Napier but would prefer a night game.
Hopefully it plays out as history suggests.

Below is from SDS article
The Gators travel to Columbia to meet the Gamecocks in a battle of desperate SEC East teams.
Florida has won just once on the road under Billy Napier, a 2021 rout of Texas A&M in College Station.

Since that game, only 1 of Florida’s road games was truly competitive for four quarters, at Florida State last November. Otherwise, Florida has been put away early by any and all takers on the road, from lowly Vanderbilt (which jumped to a huge first half lead and held on last year) to a ranked Utah team and “a way-too-physical for the Gators” Kentucky team in 2023.

And they've dropped two straight against Ga (neutral field) and two bowl games.

The horrid away record gives me a bit of hopeful optimism.

Losing to UF will be a scathing indictment of Beamer and a terrible omen for the future. UF is truly terrible this year and are at their worst on the road. If Carolina can't beat this UF team at home, the future is pretty bleak.

They do have a stout defense but we do not. It will take a great effort. I’m not sure we can match up on the lines of scrimmage. So Rattler goes we go. Better protect him and have quick check downs in the passing game. Nothing makes me think we can run the ball on them, but I see them being able to run it.

They are statistically superior to us in most categories. Not sure why we're favored.

If that is true, KY is going to blow us out of the stadium.

We shall see. Right now we're hanging our hopes on the fact that we've played a tougher schedule than anyone up to this point. That will start to clarify this week as we move into a much softer portion of the schedule.

At -2.5 Vegas is seeing a push for this game. They are just giving us the home field advantage and
recognizing Fl's woefulness on the road. They're just trying to find a way to get money from both sides.
Sounds reasonable.

B/c their schedule has been crap and nobody is a believer in their UT performance.

I wouldn't say their schedule has been crap. They've played 3 teams currently ranked in the top 25, though I think UK's ranking is inflated due to their weak schedule.

Well, UF handled UT pretty easily and UK ran all over UF. Carolina looked hugely overmatched against UT so you do the transitive work. UF has been terrible on the road, truly awful.
