After enjoying another Cards win today I have to comment on what I’ve observed watching some of the Florida UK game.

First off with Florida leading 7-0, congrats to over-thinking Todd Grantham for having UK backed up inside their 10 with a 3rd and 21 and deciding to rush 3 and play a deep soft zone which gave Uk’s backup QB all the time and confidence he needed to throw a perfect 23 yard sideline pass for a first down. UK -14 Fla- 7 now.

I personally think Dan Mullen sucks (Dak Prescott carried him) and UK is showing the positive effect of stability of having the same coach in place, who has built some depth and bypassed all the panicky, constantly coach-shifting teams in the SEC East, So Carolina, Tennessee, and possibly, soon Florida. There are some schizo teams in the SEC West too, not named Alabama, Auburn and LSU.

Here’s hoping Florida comes back and beats them by 20 but there are lots of shifts going on in the FBS below Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma and Georgia.

We have the right coach in place here. I have no doubt.

Florida’s OL is trash and Franks makes simply horrible decisions. That said, the Smith kid looks legit and uk’s OL is dominating FLA.

Porky Stupes is still the biggest crybaby in CFB. Nice to know some things haven’t changed.

They are the better team. Imagine how overrated Florida is at #9. That not a knock on UK but I don’t think I’ve seen a worse top 10 ranked team.

Dan Mullen. Where’s Dak?

I would not mind uk putting it on Florida tonight, or any other sec team for that matter.

As abysmal as the acc has been up to this point we need another ranked opponent on our schedule, rival or not.

Florida def, over ranked, but still a good showing for the Cats. They've got to hang on though; all the raging adrenaline for the first 3 QTRS can leave them flat in the 4th.

I hate watching anything Ky but that was sweet.

Porky Stupes coaches them to play so dirty.

I can see why they don’t sell alcohol in Commonfilth Stadium. Their overweight and undereducated fans yelling obscenities at the Florida players. Caught on camera numerous times.

Go Gators :D

He seems like a complete dickhead.

On the plus side, the yut board is in full meltdown. Calls to fire everyone - Brainfart, Porky, Gran - everybody. It’s complete comedy.

It also sounded like he was trying to bemoan transfers. His best damn d lineman is a transfer and he certainly had no problem “transferring” from Miss St. Spare me the sanctimonious bullmalarkey Dan.

Mullen is an idiot. They won despite him, he’s horrible. Chasing that point trying multiple two-point conversions damn near cost him. I think he stinks.

Mullen is the standard run in the mill blah coach. A couple of their players were running around acting like jack asses. The dude gets a key INT they are losing and he gets a celebration penalty. Maybe they watched the U for pre game.

I’m banned from that sh!tbox But I cannot believe they are eating their own after tonight. It’s not Stupes fault Felipe Franks got hurt.

After watching the highlights... The TD dash to seal the win and the missed FG... If that happened to any other team against any other team you'd call it shocking. But it's how almost all the close UK-Florida games end.

Prayers to Franks...hate to see any kid get injured.
Cats will lose more games....too green in the secondary. Coaching was C level...going on 4th and one is fine....leaving a green secondary with no pressure from the front seven on a qb isn't.
Meat grinder part of the schedule coming up....get to see what this blue crew is made of.

they play 2 good SEC teams the rest of the way. Missouri and Georgia. The rest of them are far from a meat grinder.

Last year was a perfect storm for them. Some good NFL talent along with a terribly soft schedule, an incredibly weak $EC East, and a bowl matchup with an overrated team that had its best players skip it.

Voila! Porky is the next Nick Satan...

Not sure I'd call Missouri good either, they did lose out at Wyoming, and UK gets them at home.

It's a weak schedule, but UK is average so the schedule presents challenges.

They could take care of business on the road or revert back to the UK we've seen over the years and be inept. There's no way to know at this point because their first few games were home.

Yeah, and I think everyone outside of UK knows it. That's why Stoops wasn't in high demand during the off-season.
