Florida forward Keyontae Johnson is in critical but stable condition after collapsing on the court in the first half of Saturday's game, school officials tell Sports Illustrated's Ross Dellenger.

With the Gators leading 11–3 over Florida State, Johnson—the SEC Preseason Player of the Year—collapsed at midcourt as Florida was coming out of a timeout. Johnson was taken to the locker room on a stretcher. Several Florida players were in tears on the sideline.

Johnson was taken to Tallahassee Memorial hospital, according to the ESPN broadcast. The reason for Johnson's collapse is still unknown.

Prayers to the young man. Hope he will be okay.

Covid19 will give you heart attacks

No, all viruses CAN cause inflammation of many parts of the body, including the heart. It is rare and in even more rare instances CAN cause a heart attack. There are also a lot of other causes of heart attacks. In Johnson's case there could be a connection, but it is extremely rare. Saying CV WILL give you heart attacks is ridiculous. If that was true, there would have been hundreds of thousands of heart attacks this past year, which did not happen.

Did I miss something. Was he diagnosed with a heart attack? Or is that an assumption?
