I'm not here to give you crow. I feel sorry for you. I know what it's like to have high expectations and have them so suddenly come to an end. It's a painful realization to know a bowl game is unlikely to happen especially if you thought 8 was possible. We all want to believe in the Cats to be serious contenders. We just aren't right now. Maybe one day we can realistically talk 8 wins.

You mean 8 wins in one season? I thought you meant over 2 or 3.
I didn't think we could win eight, but I had high hopes. And yet this games over and I thank Christ I didn't start the year feeling as miserable as you.
I still think this team can win 6. It has enough talent to do so. How the coaches manage that talent is a different argument. But the talent available can be coached to 6 wins.
It's not a miserable feeling when I don't expect a team that has won 7 games only a handful of times in my life to do it this season. It's fun to expect to win a lot of games, and it sucks when it doesn't happen. That was my point.
