Here's a lil something I wrote back in the day. Thought since they were returning to Maui I'd remind them.
Tarheels, Tarheels, 2012
went to Maui, didn't play so well.
They beat Mississippi and looked so cool,
and then Butler beat them like a rented mule.
Down 17, they get a dunk,
then flex for the camera like a baby blue punk.
The Dogs shoot the 3, again and again,
Heels perimeter D is gone with the wind.
The halftime scoreboard is quite the scene,
those sharpshootin ' Tarheels only have 18.
Second half, maybe subs will do,
Tokoto comes in, but only scores 2.
These are short guys the Tarheels are facin',
They'll really be sorry when they have to play Mason.
Roy really needs a new gameplan,
but he's alone on the bench with his head in his hands.
Late second half, Heels on a run,
They cut it to 6, it can be done.
But in the end it's not to be,
Hairston bricks some real stupid 3's.
So it's back to the mainland for some phantom class,
Weakest Maui ever, you got handed your ***.
