Speaking of parades . . . I read a very interesting article about a float being banned from the Lumberton (NC) Christmas parade. Not sure how many of you are familiar with Lumberton. You may have heard of it because it is where Michael Jordan's father was murdered; many of you may have driven through it on your way to Florida. I-95 runs right through it and it looks like a nice place to stop now, but it looked much different when I lived there 25 years ago.

Back to the Christmas parade . . . Hollow Acres, which is a Halloween attraction in nearby Fairmont, was removed from the parade just a couple of days prior to the parade and the owner was upset. She was told that the float that consisted of characters (including children) dressed in Christmas costumes with masks and bloody faces would be too scary for some parade onlookers. The owner doesn't understand that especially considering that some floats were throwing fake snakes into the crowd. There is more to the story but I think that tells you enough about Lumberton.

My advice, keep driving and stop at South of the Border if you need a break!

From the videos you provided I see that once again you attracted a raucous overflow crowd.
