Just traded in my 2011 F150 for a 2019 Ranger...it’s loaded, but an adjustment to the smaller size. There’s a tuning module that boosts it to 338 HP that I’ll be adding soon I like it so far. Anyone else have one?

I'd likely have one right now if it came with a manual. I'm done with autos in a truck.

Ford's decision making lately is puzzling at best. They did away with their car lineup only to flirt with bringing it back due to customer demand and they took all the manual transmissions out of their trucks... the one thing on a vehicle that truly makes or breaks its longevity and they went with the failure rate of all autos. I just can't get down with that. I need a truck to be a truck, not a fancy car with a bed. I don't need 10 gears to smooth out the shift patters, lol. If I wanted a Ridgeline, I'd buy one.

Dammit Ford.

Still have my 94 Ranger. 331k+ miles and still rolling.....
I bought this one new in late 1999 (2000 model). I have put 199,500 miles on it, many off road and in the swamps. I might just keep it forever. But I do like the looks of the New Ranger and have not heard any negative things about it. Other than no manual transmission which I agree sucks. I like the manual. I have considered getting a new one but even if I do, I keep this baby until the end.

My 94 is a manual. I’m on my third clutch lol. In the past year or so it’s finally starting to show its age. I would love to get a new truck, but I have one son that’s a freshman in college and another that’s a HS junior so I need to help them with college expenses. I’ve thought it would be cool to keep this truck til I retire but that’s at least 8-10 years away (I’m 54).

I saw one going by Keeneland a while back that had "DANGER RANGER" with a skull and crossbones painted across the tailgate. Which one of you was it?

Not me (yet)...not finished with my up fitting tho. So far, I have put on 20” Moto Metal black rims, Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, Weather Tech floor mats, and I’m getting a LineX spray in bed liner and roll-up tonneau cover on the 14th. Skull and crossbones is pretty far down the list but not out of the question

2.3L Ecoboost...factory rated at 270HP, but the tuning module has an incredible impact on this engine. Same tuner only adds 29 HP to the F150. You have to run 93 octane gasoline to get the full effect, but even with 87 octane you get to 329 HP

Is it 4wd? Does it come with a locker?

A 2.3 comes factory with 270HP ?!?! They’ve come along way since 1993.
