Anybody got one? I bought one today, and it’s got a million bells and whistles….any tips on how to run this thing to full potential would be appreciated. I have a tuner that will take it to over 500 HP. STOKED!! Wanted one for a long time

You gotta make sure to follow THE rule of a pickup driver.

When you're behind someone, you always ride up their ***, and if you're infront of them, you have to go 15 miles under the speed limit like you have no where to be.

If you're not pissing off other drivers, you're not doing it right.

I’m not new to truck ownership, so I know how to get my dick on!

If you have a diesel, make sure you tune it to run rich, so you can "ROLL COAL"

Nothing makes a statement like obscuring everyone around you in thick, black, exhaust. "Alpha Male coming through, avert your mere mortal eyes and make way."

Plus, it says, "Needless engine damage is of little consequence to me, because I'm rolling in it."

Might as well go extra-douchey and fly a couple flags from the bed of the truck. One with the name of a single term, authoritarian, ex president. The other, a thin blue line 'Murican flag.

Congrats.

Very nice.
Watch out for TRX's. They eat Raptors.

I do want a pickup truck fwiw.. I'm just not taking on a new car payment until I'm back in the office. It would just be a waste of money.

But I'd either go with a used pickup truck for $10k, just for the purpose of property management and house work.. or go all in and get a nice pickup truck as my main vehicle. My coworker had a Ram from 2017 I think.. it was really nice inside.

Looking and a scaled down model such as the new Ford Maverick. Will keep my 2007 Ford F150 for fishing and hauling. Need a more fuel efficient truck for the ever increasing gas prices.

The Dodge is a beast…can’t find ‘em tho.

Yeah that's another thing.. I ain't buying now with the low inventory and allowing these car salesman to price gouge me. I'll wait until the economy crashes and car dealers (or car owners) are desperate to sell.

Or you could go extra woke and fly a rainbow flag on one side and a burning American flag on the other side.

TRX and Raptor are both incredible trucks. I would love to have either, but based on looks I would prefer the Raptor. Ive been in love with the Raptor for about 8 years now. Ill just never have enough extra money to buy any mega truck like the Raptor or TRX.

If I ever hit the mega lottery jackpot I would by a Raptor and hire someone to get my food, cook it and clean up afterwards.

I'm pretty impressed with the high end broncos I've seen. I can't afford them with everything else. Nor can I afford a super truck.

I bought a new Ram in October at Cape Coral Ram and was shocked at how many they had. Must have had 20 of them. I'm speaking of 2021 models. They did have an orange TRX in the showroom. I think the sticker was like $96,000

Bells & whistles are nice. Tuners are fine too I guess. But if you are serious about wanting to run that Raptor at its full potential...all you really gotta do is slap some truck nuts on that bad boy.

And git some of dem there naked lady silhouettes .. let the people know "I ****!"

You own one property right...a duplex you live in? How could you write that off for PM?

We're looking to move in the next year, and could be up to a half hour from the duplex. So not so much as a write-off, although I know there's ways you can do that.. But more so just to have something for when repairs are needed, lawn equipment, etc.

I stopped by a large local Ram dealership last year while truck shopping. I kept hearing what sounded like a Demon drag car launching behind the dealership. Finally, as I was trying to see what it was after about 10 super hard pulls, the salesman said “That’s our first TRX! Got it off the truck last night! It launches super hard in four wheel drive!” I asked what the sticker was and he just laughed and said they’d get 100k for it. So much for a break in period.

Yeah…some Raptors go for over $100k too, but I didn’t pay that

I think the Dodge is more of a beast, but I go back to the fact that Ford didn’t take bailout money from the government
The raptor is a great truck. Beyond my means. I like Ford and Dodge almost equally. I switched to Dodge years ago because my friend bought a brand new Ford in 1998 and it had issues with the engine and the 97s they replaced, but they they told him that the 98 did not have the same problem.

You own one of the coolest trucks on the road. At work, we have F 350 diesel with 1,050 foot pounds of torque and 470 horsepower. I have a young employee I was going to teach how to pull stuff because he had never pulled things before, and after I drove it pulling a load I told him that I hate to teach him with that truck because that's not what pulling is like. He will get a false sense of security and when he switches to another vehicle, he might be in trouble. Then we figured out we needed the CDL anyway so he was out.

Well did he learn how or what?
