It's pretty funny what someone does when they can't legitimately argue that we aren't the best team in the nation. They have to do prop bet style. But even this comment, I'm not sure if I would agree with it. You give me a 2 on 2 game, and I would take the Cats 2.

Why pay any sort of attention to anything this idiot writes? His bias and devotion to Jurich are well established at this point.

Okafur is certainly NOT better than Towns as an overall player. He is better offensively....partly due to the offensive fouls he gets away with. I would call that one a push.

I guess Jones could be 'better' than our second best player.....but who is that? And what metrics do you use?

The thing I do know.....our players 3-10 are about 50x better on average than their players 3-10.

What Forde probably doesn't realize or understand is that if we meet Duke, we will play them five-on-five. Maybe he's thinking of a shootout in hockey or soccer.

Jones is not a super quick guard that would give Andrew fits on the defensive end but on the flip side Andrew would take Jones to the rim every time. So I guess, as it usually is with Duke, would they call every flop a foul when Jones acts like he was hit by a train when Andrew touches him?

Also would they call all of the "Hooks" that Okafor does when he makes that spin move? He fouls at least 3-4 times per game with that same move.

Sounds like the agenda here is to not appoint any 2 UK players better than Okafor/Jones.

Who cares IMO?

The only question should be is Duke good enough to hang a banner?

well said . Neither of those guys are very quick and neither are very tall. What gives up trouble is super quick guards like kasey Hill and height to match the twins and Booker doesn't hurt either. Listen Jones and Cook are very good players but i would take our set of 4 ( 5 if you count Hawkins which i do ) over any group of guards.

If you put Ulis and Towns against Jones and Okafor in a full court game Okafor would quit running the court halfway through the game.

Let's just say if one of Duke's Top 2 get into foul trouble, they are screwed. Their bench is puddle deep.
