WVU held undefeated 4-0 Maryland to its 2nd lowest point total of the season so far.

WVU gave Long Island by far its worst beating of the season, 66-0.

WVU is the only team to beat Virginia Tech, 27-21.

WVU gave Oklahoma is toughest game, 16-13, losing by only 3 points while never trailing till the FG at the final second.

Tell me again what it so atrocious about the Mountaineers?

Maybe Texas Tech can be the beginning of a long winning streak.

Considering LIU has only played Miami OH and FIU, one would hope WVU would have given it its worst loss.

And your biggest takeaway from reading a month's worth of fans complaining is that they think the team is atrocious?

The frustration stems from disappointment. Most posters see the team and potential and watch it squandered away by things that should be easily corrected. WVU didn't lose two games due to injury or a busted play or being run off the field by a superior opponent. It's losing games because of stubborn decisions made by the coaching staff. And this isn't conjecture or trope that the phantom backup QB being the most popular player on the team.

We've SEEN the difference between the offenses with one in vs the other. We've SEEN what the offense produces for more than two years. Fans are not upset at the players. They don't think the team is atrocious. They'e frustrated watching what could be and watching the same tires spin in the same spot where they've been spinning since August 2019.

Great post.
Agree he nailed it.

For me I love this team and think we could be pretty special this year, but like Bodhi said, its being squandered by bad decisions and its frustrating. I feel bad for the players honestly. We really have seen the difference. Our team is playing hard, but we have a starting QB who is one of the lowest ranked starting QBs in the nation for a reason. We have another QB who brings energy and excitement to the offense that we haven't seen in a while. We have a coach who will go out of his way to defend a QB who is making so may mistakes its costing us wins, while throwing the other guy who has played great every time he's gotten the chance under the buss in press conferences. Its sad to see because we have a very good team this year especially on D. The truth is, we should be undefeated right now instead of 2-2. I'm glad we beat VT and LIU big time but the truth is, we should've also beat OU and Maryland. Neither of those teams beat us, we beat ourselves in both games big time. 2-2 is ok I guess, but 4-0 would be really awesome.

WE AGREE 1,000%. NOW LET'S FINISH SEASON 6-2 OR BETTER AND WE'LL ALL BE HAPPY. JUST GET THE DAMN OFFENSE TO BE BETTER THAN AVERAGE. THE DEFENSE WILL TAKE CARE OF THE REST.

So you think the season is eight games long? Ok then...whoa. Btw there are 12 games in the season.

CFE (squirrel), Michigan would have won last year's national championship, had it not been for losing four of the six games they played.
