Pope is still going to get highly ranked high school kids no doubt. He's going to be a master at blending freshmen, transfers, and returnees something we aren't accustomed to seeing around here in a long long time.

I think if he had stayed in the 27 class he would’ve been a Cat.
I think we have a decent shot with him. Probably better had he not re-classed, but we still have a good relationship with him.
It will be interesting if the staff can convince him to come if Stokes commits.
It will be interesting to see which 2-3 we can reel in. My gut says they want Rippey as he is the only PG, Stokes for SF, and then one of Holt, Thompson, baba, etc.. to play a 2G/wing type role.
I just hope we get a Stokes committment here soon, I would love if he was at BBM and announced it somehow during it.
I can’t imagine how loud Rupp would get if Stokes decided to do that. Will be crazy.
He has a chance to make an all timer moment for BBM. Maybe surpass John Wall coming out with his dance.

With the lid having been taken off years ago on the number of permissible visits, I don’t know that hosting a recruit for an on-campus visit really means much more than you’ve made a kid’s top 10 list.
Hopefully he can go to Keeneland, and do the bourbon trail. Get him all liquored up and fotce him to sign an air tight contract that keeps him here for 6 season.

Just like his coach did here at UK. That's what I was getting at we haven't had really good recruiting and good retention of players since Pitino to be honest.
