As a Bears Fan this hit's hard - I have know he was sick with ALD for a long time and the NFL did the right thing getting him into the Hall of Fame while he was still alive. Eric Dane and actor I like was just diagnosed with ALS - hard to think of a worse disease.

I’ve seen Huntington’s Disease up close. I have a friend who has the mutant gene and she just saw her brother die from it at 31. She knows she’ll go the same way he did. For me, that one takes the cake. Sorry for being morbid, I went to the funeral not long ago.
