If Fran had gone to a Public U, would they have followed him? Ivy's tough to get into.I personally could care less where they went or how they are doing. They all left for a bag so they aren't Hawkeyes anymore.
I like how this new team defends and passes the ball.
No NIL either. Fran's team is definitely going to struggle this year, nothing new.If Fran had gone to a Public U, would they have followed him? Ivy's tough to get into.
You must not realize that Ivy's have different standards for athletes they make major exceptions. And no they wouldn't have followed him they were going for the money. If Fran had gone to a Public U, would they have followed him? Ivy's tough to get i
Yeah, I forgot about the NIL thing. You must not realize that Ivy's have different standards for athletes they make major exceptions. And no they wouldn't have followed him they were going for the money.
Pass. During the Nebraska game the TV crew kept harping on him disappearing. Needs to work hard. I thought yep that's the Dix I remember.Id take back Dix.
Very nice summary. Not sure if counts but Johnson-arigu who came mid season from Miami is st Thomas 3rd leading scorer. 10.6 ppg and 3.6 reb avg just over 20 min a game.I actually just posted this either in another thread or group text, I can't remember.
Here's my rankings:
1.Brock Harding (TCU)- starter and has been huge in some upset wins. He's scoring, getting good assists and not turning it over *too* much.
2. Pryce Sandfort (Nebraska) - could argue he's 1. Starter and usually a top scorer on a good Nebraska team. He's hitting 3s consistently.
3. Josh Dix (Creighton) - having a solid year while starting and playing most minutes. He's not doing enough to take over games and Creighton is losing games they should win... or be more competitive. They are 5-4.
4. Seydou Traore (Utah) - averaging over 10 a game and starting. We didn't get to see him in the tourney since they lost to GCU. They have also lost to Cal Poly. Utah is 7-3 but haven't beat anyone great other than Mississippi.
5. Ladji Dembele (UNLV) - Wheels are falling off now. Was a starter and lost his job/ minutes when they had to play bigger teams... lost both. He was around 25 min a game and went to about 12. Don't know if there was an injury but not producing a ton.
6. Carter Kingsbury (Citadel) - starting and putting up okayish numbers. Not mind blowing. He's getting playing time but on a really bad team.
7. Owen Freeman (Creighton) - getting murdered by the fan base demanding NIL back. Not productive on either end of the floor and really losing minutes. Not starting. I'm wondering what's going on in his head right now.
8. Chris Tadjo (Santa Clara) - found himself on a good team but has been hurt all year.
9. Josh Mulvey (Sienna) - brother can't even come close to cracking the lineup at Sienna. I thought he would do well in a smaller school. I saw he got in for 1 minute awhile back.
Iowa's other recruits have not been overly impressive.Very nice summary. Not sure if counts but Johnson-arigu who came mid season from Miami is st Thomas 3rd leading scorer. 10.6 ppg and 3.6 reb avg just over 20 min a game.

Probably because they have him rostered under the wrong name!9. Josh Mulvey (Sienna) - brother can't even come close to cracking the lineup at Sienna. I thought he would do well in a smaller school. I saw he got in for 1 minute awhile back.
They also lower their admittance standards, and class loads for athletes.Yeah, I forgot about the NIL thing.
Oops Riley. Not sure where I came up with Josh.Probably because they have him rostered under the wrong name!![]()
I do it all the time, I'm glad it's not just me!Oops Riley. Not sure where I came up with Josh.
pinky?Creighton up on Providence early. No sign of Freeman.
Don't know. Just saw he wasn't listed in the box score. Looked online and couldn't find anything on him.pinky?

Actually, from the main camera angle, if you look through the backboard, towards the left of the rest of the team of the bench, you can see him down from the managers a couple of chairs.Creighton up on Providence early. No sign of Freeman.
Was he suited up?Actually, from the main camera angle, if you look through the backboard, towards the left of the rest of the team of the bench, you can see him down from the managers a couple of chairs.
Yes, he was. Watched/taped the game to see if he'd get it at the end. Too close! Really good game with a crazy ending. Dix played well. Was he suited up?
Have to admit, never saw this coming…anyone know how much he is getting paid? TiaSandfort is clearly the biggest loss now. He has led Nebraska in scoring 9 times, rebounding twice and assists twice. Nebraska is 18-0.

Considerably less than Freeman….Have to admit, never saw this coming…anyone know how much he is getting paid? Tia
Yet he leads the team in minutes and assistsI think TCU is learning having a point guard in Brock Harding that can’t shoot or defend, isn’t going to work well in the Big 12.
Not surprising then that TCU is 11-7. You were probably talking up Harding last year when Iowa had a terrible record and he was playing a lotYet he leads the team in minutes and assists
Might as well move Freeman behind Mulvey too. Where will Freeman be playing next year?!? Maybe like a Bradley or Illinois State with very little NIL money.
