Former U.K. 'Cat Allen Edwards

Former U.K. Wildcat Allen Edwards, who played on both the '96 and '98 U.K. national championship teams and on the '97 NCAA Runners-up, has been an Assistant Basketball Coach at the University of Wyoming for the last few years.

Wyoming beat No. 25-ranked Boise State on Friday night in OT, and plays San Diego State today at 3:00 p.m., EDT, for the Mountain West Conference championship in Las Vegas.

Congratulations to Coach Allen Edwards ! Good luck to the Wyoming Cowboys in their conference finals !

Former U.K. Wildcat Allen Edwards will be coaching in The Big Dance.

Wyoming beat San Diego State for the Mountain West Conference championship.

Allen was one of my favorite unsung 'Cats. Played in three national championship finals. Not many former U.K. players can say that. Just a solid player. Nothing fancy -- just dependable blue color work on both ends of the floor.
