He was here 2 years, but really only played significantly for 1 if I recall. He does rebut the tired arguments of "you never suited up" or "how many years have you been a coach." I've never built a house, but if the finished product is a leaning shanty I know the builder did something wrong. The exact minute details on how it went wrong I may be lost on, but that doesn't negate my accurate conclusion that the finished product is substandard. Same with coaching. I know what a successful program looks like, but I'm not paid millions per year to micromanage all the various working parts that go into that successful program. And while it is a very hard job that not many can do, again I'm not paid millions per year to do that job. Hence the higher expectations for results.

Teams got better or worse every week throughout the season. When they played, WVU and Oklahoma were virtually equal. Since then, OK has gotten progressively better and WVU is on a downhill slide.
What was potentially a 10 - 2 team has regressed into a 3 - 9 team. Whoever is calling the defense is totally clueless with WRs being left wide open, play after play. We have a starting QB who's progression never goes past 2 and is incapable of throwing s decent long pass.
The backup QB is afraid to throw it and runs when a receiver is open. Maybe Greene needs moved to slot and the freshman QB prepared to play. Doege is simply not a winner.

A former player had to buy a tee shirt just to watch us get our asses whipped at homecoming? Goodness this program under Brown is a sinking ship. Trust the climb seems like the most ridiculous slogan ever. The team gave up against Baylor, anyone could see that. They beat our asses so bad we spent the entire second half wishing the game were over. The coaches, the players and the fans just wanted the embarrassment to be over with. We are joining Kansas as the bottom dwellers of the B12. What is Brown, 13-16 now with only 8 or 9 wins against Power 5 opponents? That is unacceptable by WVU standards. We havent sucked this bad in a long time. Brown is a clown and needs to step down.
