Yep. The fun is gone. Maybe it’ll return when the season starts.
Time will tell, but he basically got the same pay check as Luka.. and hes just not on that level.
My other fear here is that his game is a little too much in the mold of Wall/Rose. Hes got lightning speed but not much of a 3-level scorer. When that athleticism goes, these guys have to another dimension to their game.
He has improved his shooting greatly since entering the league. Much better than Wall and Rose before he had to reinvent his game.
He does, for sure. Hes not on the same level as them (more so Wall) where his shooting is a true a detriment. And I dont think hes anything less than a great player, just not sure he was worth elite superstar-type money.. they type of money thats for guys like Luka, LeBron, Jokic, etc. Hes a tier, maybe 2 tiers behind that top level.
He is worth that much, it’s just the elite players are worth much more. They’re in a union so everyone eats.
