Saw this on ESPN. Interesting that by the FPI, West Virginia is our toughest game on the schedule thus far.

5. Oklahoma Sooners

Running the table: Oklahoma and Notre Dame are the only schools to play two nonconference games against opponents that finished the 2015 season as AP Top 10 teams. The Sooners face Houston and Ohio State within the first three weeks of the season. This might sound tough, but FPI gives Oklahoma an 18 percent chance to enter the bowls undefeated this season, the highest of any FBS team. This includes a 90 percent chance to beat Houston and an 81 percent chance to beat Ohio State. The Sooners have a 73 percent chance to win at West Virginia per FPI, the lowest of any game on their schedule. -- B.I.

They must be laser focused for every game with no exception this year (except perhaps the cyclones of course)

"laser focused".....this is basically the only criticism i have ever heard from people who have played the game at the major program level of college football.....Bob's apparent inability to have the team ready to play each and every game. Football is as much about emotion as it is about physicality. For whatever reason, the Sooners under Stoops have games where their performance or kack thereof simply cannot be explained and I put forth the 2015 Texas game as example #1.

I think it is not possible for a team to play at its highest level over the course of an entire season. If one looks at every OU season ever played, say, since the Wilkinson era, there has always been a game against a lesser foe in which OU struggled.
I can think of numerous examples, but here's a few:
1975....OU 3, Kansas 23, as OU won a national championship, but lost this game at home.
1975....OU 20, Miami 17 OU was completely shut down offensively and scored only one offensive touchdown.
1978...OU 17,Kansas 16 in Lawrence as KU missed a two point conversion late in the game.
1971....OU 20, Missouri 3....OU scored only two offensive first downs against a 1-10 team.
1984 OU 12, Iowa State 10...Tillman's late TD won it, the week after the controversial 15-15 tie vs Texas.
1953 OU 7, Pittsburgh 7....Pitt was 3-5-1 that year.
I will admit that there have been too many games during Stoops' tenure in which his team just lays an egg unexpectedly, like the last two losses to Texas and the 2011 home loss to Texas Tech being just three examples.
