I think it’s something that a lot of us on this board have been wanting to write, but didn’t want to deal with the backlash. Especially the part about agents.
oh, and, that bit about tampering make contact and stay in touch with your friends

There was one suggestion I didn't like, that being the one about clawing back money from guys that got injured. For future years, sure, if their fair market value dropped but not for the current year. I don't see how you could do that to somebody that got injured in the performance of their job.

Really, all this means to me is we need to give credit to Duke , UNC and others like them who were ahead of the curve for many years in giving out "NIL" deals like housing, fake grades, money and such. All this just makes what they did normal in todays college world.
Sadly, money rules sports now all all levels. It had before but not at this level of insanity.

Then again, we need to re-open the FedX case against UK and claim we were just preparing for the future.
There will be arguments for and against what we are seeing take place today. The younger generation will see nothing wrong with this while older fans will feel like I do.
Somewhere in the middle could be a common ground but at this moment , the players and agents run sports. And it has really hit high schools across the country as well.

I watched a video where this past week Steve Kerr and Daymond Green got into it. Green didn't like his coach calling out his players for lack of hustle and Green walked out of the huddle and went into the locker room. This sort of attitude would have been dealt with years ago and now has spread down to lower levels of play. Players are employees, period. Until there is some changes made how players are held accountable this is only going to get worse. Look at Memphis. Agree with their coach or not, he was just fed up with his players getting paid and acting like they are the victims when called out for breaking the rules.

This reminds me of how many of the all time greatest college coaches …in both basketball and football …could not coach in today’s world.

Especially with No. 2. Could you imagine coaches like Rupp, Knight, Bear Bryant, Woody Hayes, etc. having to kiss the *** of slimy agents to do their job? Never.

It just takes a whole different skill set and personality type to succeed in this racket today than it did in the past.

One thing that needs to happen is a player can transfer once without sitting out a year. If a player wants to transfer again they have to sit out a year.
