Been hearing good things about Howle. Not sure if he's ready to call plays yet, but people have been high on the job he's done and have said he may be a future OC.

Why? Kraft is always around the program, them shaking his hand as they walk by in warm ups is not a big deal. Kraft even gave Grunk a pat on the butt on the sideline in the middle of the game.
No matter who they hire all I want are a couple of things.
1: To actually believe they might win a big game.
2: An offensive coordinator that's at PSU for more than a year or two.
3: A defensive coordinator that's at PSU for more than a year or two.
Corollary to 2 and 3. A head coach that doesn't blame the OC or DC by firing them.
Continuity matters.

Sh*t show = 7-5 including a win over ranked Wisconsin to end the season. Pretty sure 2025 is the sh*t show that some other coach will need to take over.
Because Durant looked pissed at Franklin after the NW loss. Franklin stayed on the field and Durant walked past him as Franklin seemed to call Durant. Durant appeared to look away pissed. That’s why this might mean something.

Without the stain of the second worst sanctions in history hanging over the program. 2025 isn’t close to what Franklin inherited no matter how much people want to deny it.
