Interesting. I wouldn't say I agree with Nebraska firing Tim Miles, he showed his potential in the Big Ten Tournament quite well and could make a good run in the NIT

Hoiberg would be a good get for Nebraska. Miles will find a job somewhere, just not at the Big Ten level.

Existing biases: I really like Tim Miles and am a die-hard Bulls fan. But why is Hoiberg such an upgrade? Yes, Nebraska built nice facilities, but it still has to be difficult to recruit there. Miles has kept them competitive most years and deserves more patience. And Hoiberg did reasonably well at Iowa State, but it's not like he's Brad Stevens or Billy Donovan.

I do not see why they should fire him. The question is how did they get down to a roster of 6 scholarship players. I suppose that could be a reason but I still think they would be making a mistake. And Hoiburg??? He has been out of the college game for a while.

how many scholarship players will NU have next year if we don't get any grad transfers?

10 but if they give one to Malnotti it would be 11. But I would guess that CCC and company will get at least one as we have plenty to offer

To be fair, giving Tino a scholarship doesn't automatically make him a scholarship player, if you know what I mean.......

Injuries were the primary reason they were down to 6...
