The women’s finals was great. Happy for Coco. Sabalenka is a sore loser ***** and sounded just like Serena Williams did whenever she lost. All of that screaming when she hits needs to be outlawed. It’s gamesmanship and a distraction. I hope she doesn’t win again this year. Very hateful to Coco.

Check out Coco's comments after the match re: 'proud to represent Americans who look like me and support the things I support'. How about being proud to be the first American to win the French Open in ~ a decade and leave it at that? Why be proud to only represent black Americans and people who agree with your politics? I think I can guess which side of the political spectrum she falls on. Why not be happy to represent ALL Americans? Crickets from the MSM as one would expect. A similar statement from a white, male American would be splashed all over with charges of 'racism' all over the place. Double standard reigns supreme at MSM.

Agree 100% that Sabalenka is allowed to distract her opponent with all the screaming and grunting. Great player and the other players seem to like her personally, unlike Iga, for instance. But, I'll never believe that the constant screaming from her doesn't adversely affect her opponent. The WTA needs to address this behavior. Sabalenka (and others) can and should eliminate all the vocal antics and just play tennis. I understand a grunt or groan every so often. But, a very loud shout on every single shot is too much and, imo, in violation of the rules.

Alcaraz/Sinner is one of the best tennis matches I've ever watched and the French is by far my least favorite of the majors.

What a comeback. Down 2 sets to 0 and facing 3 championship points on his own serve down 3-5 in the 4th.

5 sets, 3 going 7-6.

Truly epic match between the two best players in the world. Didn't think Alcaraz could recover from down 2 sets, but wow. Too bad it wasn't on a major TV station. Tennis used to be big and, I think, could be again. But, have to have better TV exposure. Read it was the longest FO final in history.

I didn’t hear that but I agree with you. No need to ring that stuff into sports.
