He's doing more than testing the waters.Eh, he’d be dumb not to test the waters.
Self disclosure I didn’t click the link. I try not to read anything ESPN associated. Are they wanting us to lower our flag to half mast or anything due to this news? He's doing more than testing the waters.
Lol K-Nip, I love it!"Duke freshman Kon Knueppel announced Wednesday on social media that he will enter the 2025 NBA draft and forgo his remaining college eligibility."
¡Adios K-Nip!
He's a projected lottery pick in a lot of mock drafts so he'd be dumb not to go.Eh, he’d be dumb not to test the waters.
He’s a lottery pick. He ain’t just testing the waters.Eh, he’d be dumb not to test the waters.
Did you get that from the article posted saying he is entering the draft and forgoing his remaining eligibility?I think that kid is gone
Being several years younger than Brea helps. Remember the whole “drafts on potential” thing? It’s about who the player is expected to become in the future more than who he is today. How is this kid soooo much better than Koby Brea. Yes, he can shoot and has a good feel of the game but is he lottery pick good as some pundits have suggested?? If he is a lottery pick then I think Koby should go first round. I don't get the hype on Knueppel.
He's doing more than testing, he's swimming in it, drinking it and swallowing it...he gone.Eh, he’d be dumb not to test the waters.
No brainer. I think the kid will be a 1st round pick.
Plus he's quicker, can get to the basket better and shoots it well from every spot on the floor. Btw giving a Duke guy that compliment makes me nauseas. Surprised they didn't get him the ball at all during the end of their FF game.Being several years younger than Brea helps. Remember the whole “drafts on potential” thing? Scouts view Brea’s potential as largely tapped out.
The list of Duke studs without a title that were heavily favored to win one
Cal eraThe list of Duke studs without a title that were heavily favored to win one continues to grow.
Do you know if he is 17 or 18 ?He’s the first of the Duke draft guys. One of the all-time great names though
He's not testing the waters. He's foregoing the rest of his college eligibility to turn pro.Eh, he’d be dumb not to test the waters.
I don’t think there is a guy for it. It’s hard to win with freshman. I’m glad Duke is going for it and I hope they go even more for it.I honestly hope they keep trying to make 1AD and freshman work. Scheyer is not the guy for it.

Cal didn’t get enough credit for how good he brought those freshman together back then. It was masterful work in the chemistry department.I still think Cal was the best at it, and he was cloest to doing it in 2012 (one could argue he DID do it in 2012). I think if he got the treatment that Duke gets from the officials and NCAA, he'd probably have a 2nd title with either the 2014 or 2015 team.
But I also understand that a lot of years, it was even too much for him, largely due to his coaching.
No I get most of my information about cillege hoops here, and that hadn't been posted yetDid you get that from the article posted saying he is entering the draft and forgoing his remaining eligibility?
Cal was. But Fisher beat him to it at Michigan. They didn't win a title but they got to the title game starting 5 freshmen. Granted, 3 of those guys were career NBA players and Webber was in consideration for MVP a couple times.I still think Cal was the best at it, and he was cloest to doing it in 2012 (one could argue he DID do it in 2012). Hard to believe Maluach got ZERO rebounds in their loss to Houston. I’ve seen where he’s listed in the top 10 also. I don’t follow the nba at all but, I thought the nba didn’t put a priority on big guys anymore.Mock drafts have him going like 7. Kinda a no brainer for him leaving. Maluak is also in top ten. Just shows how bad a job Scheyer did this year. He is like Cal lite!!
