That is what I was thinking. We know JF doesn't talk injuries and keeps saying Carter looks to be improving in practice which we know could be a total smoke screen.

I don't see him starting over Vanover if Carter can't go. Increased PT probably but not starting.
Separate question regarding DT rotation: Has Gilliam been seeing PT @ DT during the playoffs? I often forget to look at player jersey #s during the games.

Exactly. If he was looking so good then why didn’t he play over Vanover, who played fantastic, in the last game? Something doesn’t add up here.

Given the success the program is having and the need for DL, have to think Hakeem Beamon would have been heavily involved in this run. Not sure if his PT was a decision to leave the team, but he would be getting a lot of run for the playoff.

If I recall correctly and based on what Franklin said this week, Granville was the backup for Abdul in their third down pass rush package, the one where Abdul lined up as a lb with DDS and Amin at DEs. He didn’t and won’t start at DE, just the pass rush package if Abdul can’t play.
