^ yours being among the worst, recently born country outlaw.

Still cracks me up.
What are you talking about. I grew up on that stuff. That and classic rock was all my dad listened too. I got mad at "country" right around the time Garth Brooks came out. There's been a few exceptions since then, of course.

I guess it is really hard to like Jason Isbell, Sturgill, etc. before they're a known quantity.

Good call, idiot.

Agreed, anyone without Wood Brothers on their list have no idea wtf good music is.
Pop was a category. It's the worst genre of music out there. The Wood Brothers are more Americana than pop, but that is better than anything else that would show up in that spot.

Ryan Adams covering a pop diva might suffice. Forgot about his cover of 1989.

Pop music is catchy and awesome, and anyone who disagrees is a pretentious kill-joy.

Time to shake you off, imo.

Can i just include 5 songs I like or do I have to use this specific model and include genres i rarely listen to?

Officially, this is not allowed. But the Commission has elected to make an exception in this particular circumstance.

What's this about a format? Um, no.

Five live tracks from James Brown and the J.B.s, Soul Train 1973:

Sex Machine
Good Foot
Soul Power
Escapism
Make It Funky

The band is unreal. You can't help but be happy when you listen to these guys play live.

No doubt he's baddest MFer of all time, boys:

Rock: Royal Blood - Figure it Out
Pop: Nelly Furtado - Maneater, because she is so gorgeous and it "moves" me.;)
Country - BR549 - Too Lazy to Work, Too Nervous to Steal, because it's Americana royalty, to me.
Rap - Logic, anything he does. There's so much more power in recognizing the positive, and he gets it.
My choice - Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies, because every genre turns out a true gem, now and then.
