Not much has changed my mind thus far. And not much can happen imo to change things in a major way except if Nova slips, UVA loses TODAY and Wisc doesn't win Big Ten. I think everyone but those three are lock in on their number seed.

East
1. Wisconsin
2. Virginia (I think they lose today)

Midwest
1. Kentucky
2. Gonzaga

South
1. Duke
2. Kansas

West
1. Villanova
2. Arizona

Any way Kansas slips from the 2 line w/ a loss today? Maybe jumped by Notre Dame or Maryland? Especially considering some uncertainty w/ their roster.

Very possible imo. Especially if Maryland gets to Big Ten championship game.

Villanova resume is better than Wisconsin. If anyone goes west, it's Wisconsin. But I think Virginia has better resume too.

Villanova has 4 wins against top twenty five and 11 against to fifty.

Wisconsin had 2 wins against top twenty five and 8 against top fifty.

Virginia has 5 wins against top twenty five and 8 against top fifty.

Kentucky , Cleveland
Duke - Syracuse
Villanova - Houston
Virginia - Los Angeles

Arizona - Los Angeles
Wisconsin - Cleveland
Gonzaga - Houston
Kansas - Syracuse

Very similar for me :

Midwest
1 - UK
2 - Kansas

West
1 - Villanova
2 - Arizona

South
1 - Duke
2 - Gonzaga

East
1 - Wisconsin
2 - Virginia

This is all predicated that Duke wins the ACCT and Wisconsin, Villanova and Arizona wins out. If UVA should win the ACCT, I think they would simply swap the seed order in the east with UVA as a #1 seed and Wisconsin as a 2 - I honestly think they could make a "plausible" case for that, because it falls within the realm of plausibility for the NCAAT SC to do that.

That's just the thing for me. We really have no idea how the SC has the brackets as of today. IMO, they can make it sound plausible to have Wisconsin and UVA as a the 1/2 in either order. I simply feel like they will put Kansas as the last #2 seed in our region. I've a feeling that they would do that because the rest of the nation wouldn't complain about KU being in our region to lose again (and it gives KU a chance to improve over what they did against us early in the year). The rest of the teams across the country would be more than happy to "divvy up" the rest of the seeding arrangements and not shed one tear over KU having to be put in our region as the 2 seed.

All just my opinion, of course. Personally, I hope it goes this way exactly for us, because I like the fact that they can put Wisconsin, UVA and Duke all on the other side of the bracket from us.

Will be interesting to see how they justify doing what they do when the time comes.

I agree with this but I think KU will be a #3 seed. A lot can, and will, happen in the next couple of days. These games are impossible to predict and you never know what the committee is thinking on Sunday. I think there will be some surprises.

Going with your assumption Virginia loses today:

East
1. Villanova
2. Virginia

Midwest
1. Kentucky
2. Kansas

South
1. Duke
2. Gonzaga

West
1. Wisconsin
2. Arizona

Sorry to disagree, but no matter what happens Duke is getting Gonzaga. Count on it.

Very possible. But I still think the NCAAs propensity for juicy story lines will be too much for them to resist an potential UK/Gonzaga KW matchup.

Neither of those teams are taking the Big 12's spot as a #2 seed. Hardly any chance of that happening.

If Kansas does slip, look for Oklahoma or Iowa State to grab their spot, if one of them are the Big 12 Tourney champs.

Kansas may be locked in as a #2 already though....

It really isn't that juicy of a storyline.
