To prepare to watch Friday's UofL-WKU game streamed exclusively on Facebook, try going to Facebook and streaming a past game.

You can access Facebook online at facebook.com/LiveCUSA/ or by searching for LiveCUSA in the Facebook app.

You don't need a Facebook account to stream.

The Facebook Watch TV app is available on:

Amazon Fire TV
Apple TV (4th generation or newer)
Android TV
Samsung Smart TV (2015 or newer)
Xbox One
Oculus TV

If you don't have a compatible platform to download the app, you can also stream Facebook video from your device to a TV.

I know streaming seems to be the way of the future but this is lame.

I don't believe we will get ourselves in these kind of situations again? But maybe old dog new tricks, applies to those of us more mature folks. Maybe Facebook will become another channel for viewing sports. FB needs to do something because they've lost a ton of viewers over their ways the last few years.

Facebook sucks unless you love conspiracies.

What I learned on FB, you need to be careful who you follow. I follow loved ones, UofL and I do private groups. Put all other crap on ignore. Life on FB can then be of interest.

Sports are killing themselves long term by making it so hard to watch games. A smaller and smaller group of people watch this sport every year. Shooting themselves in the foot with an inaccessible game doesn't help build the fanbase or national audience.

I downloaded the Facebook watch app yesterday to my Fire TV. It seems to work ok I guess. Guess I'll find out how well the feed streams Friday.

Better than what I had to deal with when I didn’t live in Louisville. I could never get UofL games in anywhere unless it was nationally televised.

It’s now easier than ever to watch a UofL game if you’re not in the Louisville market.

Bottom line going forward Tyra or the Acc whomever signs these deals with schools. Needs too say if you want U of L you must have a legit t.v package. This school is worth the access of t.v.

Like i said before amazing when we were in lesser conferences you hardly missed a U of l game on t.v. Yes that was before these sucking millennial's whom have caused all this streaming crap.

I love all of you people, but sometimes you all say some stupid stuff!

Why would you miss this game? It’s on Facebook. Fire up the internet, surf to the website, and click on the link. It’s the same thing you did just a few seconds ago to read this message, but somehow doing that same thing becomes harder than rocket science when it comes to turning on a basketball game?

You don’t even have to subscribe to a cable provider or a streaming service to get this game, making it easier and less expensive to watch than any of the other 6 games UofL has played this year.

I'm guessing this is for me.

My point is, back in the 80's and 90's all our games like this were on WDRB, free and easy to all in the city to see. That helped build our fanbase.

I get your point that this particular game is easy to access. If you happen to find or are savvy enough to find the link. If you happen to have easy access to internet where and can afford to stream. Obviously not an issue for anyone who reads this board.

Look at what happened to Boxing after decades of PPV. It's completely off the map, and I believe college basketball is headed in the same direction.

Facebook is awful, however. Their corporate philosophy, their willingness to allow falsehoods and divisive advertising, it’s an archaic outlet. Facebook was one of the first, but now Boomers use it more than anyone. It’s old garbage. I’ll pass.

I suggest everyone give thanks that we are no longer CUSA, because Facebook is their Conference channel. It's that giving thanks season folks. Let's try it. Go Cards!

yes, pretty sure CUSA isn’t getting $25 million per school per year from Facebook for their home sporting events like the ACC is. But the good news is that Facebook does have some powerful servers, so we shouldn’t have any problem streaming the game!

Keep clicking on that full screen. It took me a couple clicks to get it activated.

One good thing about watching this on Facebook. The comments by the trolling Ky fans are quite typical of who they really are. Solidifies my view of their fanbase.

Definitely not a good thing. There were 28k-30k watching most of the game. That's crazy low. Useless to both programs for a big in state game. On a network would have had 1.5m at least. And the earlier poster was right...... does nothing to bring in your casual fan to get into U of L bball.
