The schedule isn't out yet but one of the writers on Warchant said it was leaked that the FSU/Louisville game would be on Saturday, September 17th. That's Week 3. It isn't official till it comes out but that was what his sources at FSU told him.

We've got a brutal September schedule if that is how it shakes out. We play Ole Miss in Orlando on Labor Day night, then FCS Charleston Southern, then at Louisville and then at USF who should be a very good team. Kind of reminds me of Louisville's September schedule for 2015.

IF that date ends up being true, it could be a night game.

As much as it pains me to say it, you should be 4-0 by the end of that month.
Maybe. But Ole Miss will probably be Top 10 and Louisville will probably be ranked too. Both of those teams are more than capable of taking it to us. It isn't a cakewalk at all. For us it is going to depend on Quarterback play. We're stacked everywhere else but we'll see if one of our younger QB's can step up and give us a game changer at QB.

I don't know about that, we are going to be pretty darn good next year.
Plus you get us at Home. To me Louisville has clearly established themselves as 3rd in the pecking order in the ACC and will be gunning for both FSU and Clemson. Essentially they know that to move up from 3rd to 1 or 2 they have to beat FSU and Clemson. And they have the talent to do it. It's competition. We'll have our hands full.

The chances of the game being played in the heat of the day could mean 90 degree weather. l hope it's a night game.

The Cards open with Charlotte Labor Day weekend. Per the schedule at http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-16/2016-louisville-cardinals-football-schedule.php the Cards play @Marshall on Sept 24 and play @ Houston the week before the home game against Kentucky at the end of the season. I assume there will be a road game Sept 10 as I doubt the Cards will start with three straight home games. Then FSU on the 17th if Schmitty's info is correct. Charlotte is a certain win. @Marshall shouldn't be a problem . @ Houston is our toughest road game next season other than @Clemson.

The Cards really need to establish themselves in the division be beating FSU or Clemson this coming season.

As a fan of a founding member of the greatest football conference in the land, I may be sluming it to comment on this battle of midgets between fsu and ul.
I never have had to think about fsu since they have ran and hid from UK since that beating we put on them last time we met on the gridiron...and that was back in the bowden days when they were supposed to be good.
That game has gone down in the BBN history as the one that proved, without a doubt, that UK is better than the supposed best of the acc.

Lol! FSU went 7-5 in the regular season in 2007 and had about 30 players suspended for that game and you still only beat us by 7. We were hardly the best in the ACC that year.

LOL...and yet UL has beaten more SEC games in last 4 years than UK...Congrats you beat a 7-5 FSU team that was missing 25 players due to suspensions and injuries..Also, last 5 years ACC holds advantage in bowl games vs. SEC. Come December you will be sitting at home only thinking about a BOWL

Schmidty, don't bite on Homer's bait. Chances are he is a UofL fan. And if he's not, he is merely psychotic. In any case - mostly not worth anything more than an occasional gigantic chuckle.

Homer, you know I'm your biggest fan. Spruce up your grammar and I am sure you will win an award for fiction. Your talent is undeniable. However, if you are real, I still feel you need immediate medical attention.

911-911-911 Homer, has lost it. He is talking out of the wrong end again. I would not even say they are the third best in the state give them fourth. I'll take Eastern over them.

The FSU's of the world don't worry about losing a Dalvin Cook.

There may most likely have someone as good, or maybe better, waiting in line. Who was the big time RB DC replaced?

I hate that the ACC has FSU/CU/UofL play each other so early in the season, unless they are trying to allow time for the loser to recover and make a run at the end of the year. As far as the game, both teams will be much improved this year, but because we are at home, I am going with the home team this year, but I wouldn't put money on it. Our division is top-LOADED this year, and should be a fun season. Good luck to the Noles.

Dalvin Cook is a special player that will not be replaced, he's absolutely killed us the last two years. If he goes pro, the prospect of staying withFSUis much better.

I think we have an awesome chance, with or without Cook.
blast me because im a UK fan but you guys struggle with speed backs. you do awesome with power backs.... the miami back for instance that you stoned. but really fast backs have caused you problems. flame away but you do better against power backs than speed backs. hell, you guys beat fsu 2 years ago without cook in the 2nd half.... and i puked in my mouth saying that.

You know Duke Johnson-(The Miami RB) is also a "Speed Back" and is now a 3rd Down Specialist in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns...drafted in the 3rd Round.

Cook killed us, but our offense left our defense on the field way, way too much in Tallahassee. If we are going to take a step up this year, it is our offense that needs to lead the way.

Cook replaced Devonte Freeman, who was drafted in the 3rd round in 2014 and starts at Running Back for the Atlanta Falcons.

I can't make it. I rarely make it to any away games right now because I am in Grad School at FSU. I go to every home game though. Once I get out and start working again Full Time I plan on making some away trips. Papa Johns is definitely on my list. :)
