My wife and I will be there. Very much looking forward to it. We're staying in Bainbridge, GA on Friday night, which is 40 miles north of Tallahassee. After the game we're driving over to Panama City for a handful of days (why not, right?).
I think getting out of town may really help the team. At least, I'm hoping it does.
It's really not too late to turn the season around and still get something positive out of it. There are so many problems, but a break here or there and a belief they can win could happen.
I think this game sets the tone for the rest of the season, for better or worse. Or more of the same.
If they prepare and have the right attitude they can. In fact, they can win out and go 9-3, which is what many on this board predicted. With the sh**storm around them, it’s a perfect time for “us against the world”! CCS was great at motivating his team this way. I think Bobby is more of an X and O guy. CTG was the holler guy last year. Who on staff will play that role now?

There is the "Downtown get down" on Friday from 6-10 it's a big block party with Music, food trucks, craft beers.

Due to the football team situation and the situation with the vindictive BOT and clueless interim President I will not be attending. I live in Florida and bought a ticket but sold it to an FSU fan. Took a little bit of a loss but will save by not having to spend money for a hotel tomorrow night as well as gas.
I can not in good conscious attend due to my economic and financial boycott of UofL to save the university from this interim President and BOT.

I’m sure the BOT and Interim President lost sleep over that. They won’t and could careless; that’s the problem. If we stop attending and donating they’ll be happy to reallocate us to little brother. Heck when Postel talks sports it’s like a 6 year old speaking of sports. Why would anyone think a UK board would be mad if less money’s comes in. I would argue that’s what caught their attention. We could raise money and SuCk could barely raise enough to do a small renovation on Commonwealth and Rupp Arena. They will love for our funds to dry up.
To be honest, I’m glad you didn’t go. Don’t need your negativity when the situation calls for forward thinking positivity. The Cards fans there had a great time. Had an opportunity to talk with Vince Tyra in the hotel bar Friday night. The guy is very upbeat and is pushing the right buttons. He knows what he is doing.
Something I’ve overlooked in all of this BOT stuff. We still have a favorable athletic board. Bill Stone is a very loyal Louisville guy. If the BOT starts going a stray we will definitely know because the athletics board will surely speak up. That’s when we need to put the pressure on the members of the BOT and the governor, although I think his political care will be short lived. For now I’m sitting back letting the dust settle and see what direct we head in. I’m not about to stop supporting UofL.
It could be David Grissom had a personal vendetta against Jurich and Pitino and not UofL. That’s just a possibility not necessarily my view. If that’s the case we will see continued momentum if not it should be clear. Not a Grissom fan or this BOT, just looking for a positive in a negative.
I def enjoyed the game more than her since she's a Seminole, but having drinks with you and Swine was a blast and beating the Noles was icing on the cake!
