Man, LOVED that game! And the defense was amazeballs!
And it has absolutely no bearing on what has transpired under Mike since his return. He's absolutely stunk it up. And you can't even blame it on a lack of talent...he's been here way long enough to bring in his own type of player. That is, if he could ever stick to one single defense (three man front, four man front, one gap, two gap, etc).

The game featured a very clutch, very smart intentional safety by Ferguson on the bad snap from center into the OU end zone that prevented any FSU touchdown. Instead of letting FSU back into the game at 13-7, Ferguson's play kept OU two scores up.
There weren't many missed tackles in that game. Special teams played a huge part of that win, Great angled punting, #11 made some great plays covering those punts as well.
