This got me thinking. I work in the world of corporate governance. There may be a market demand for auditing these types of sponsorship deals similar to a SOC 1 report. Hmmm

I think there would be demand for auditing many of these contracts made by university athletic departments. In particular head coach contracts have gotten so stilted towards the coach I cannot believe there hasn’t been a calling for greater risk management.

there should be a performance failure clause, aka the “Kragthorpe clause” which protects the university from total incompetence. CSK might owe us money.
