This weekends game at Texas will be the furthest west UK football has traveled for a game in its entire history.(Bowl games excluded I'm assuming)

I know, this should be on the football board but I don't post over there or read over there, I'm a UK basketball fan through and through, no other sport at any level comes close to it for me. Every other team I'm a fan of can go winless as long as we win in basketball.

What’s the furthest west UK basketball has traveled? Alaska for the shootout? Maui for the invitational?

How about most west for a true road game? UCLA?

Have we played at UCLA? I'm not as well seasoned as some of our fellow cat fans on this board and love learning every little fact I can.

Yes. We had two West coast road games during the Cal era, one at UCLA and the other Gonzaga.

And, unfortunately, we got our asses soundly kicked both times.

Yeah, that was the 2014 game where UK went up.like 24-2 to open the game.
No, that was a neutral site game in Chicago.

The year we traveled to UCLA was during the 15-16 season. It did not go well.

Yeah, I deleted my post after I double checked and saw it was in Chicago.
