So the Jets priority is to re-sign Fitzpatrick...possibly draft another qb as a backup... ...and Geno would need to move on ?

He needs to get out of NY, he can stick in this league just not there.

I can almost guarantee Geno would have produced similar results to Fitz this year if he had the chance. For his first time in his career he had viable options. Similarly Fitzpatrick also playing with some actual weapons for the first time in his career posted career numbers. Did the 32 year old journeyman magically get better following an offseason where he nursed a broken leg? Or did the Jets just seriously upgrade their supporting cast last offseason? I think we know the logical answer.

Yeah... I can't argue with that! I used it merely to call attention to a former QB. Not too much to exclaim about.
