People say blue blood jobs don’t bring coaches. If Duke or UNC came open the narrative would become completely different.ready to make a “bump this threat when Duke sucks”.

Way too high unless we start beating someone ranked. That's very generous
I think many will leave. They’re not going to stick around for this sh*tshow. Especially the freshmen who might actually become something better. Basically anyone who might actually turn out good for us will probably leave. The sick part is that we will probably have most of these guys back next year. All of them are role players, but they all think they're the best player on the roster.
When fans quit traveling to away games and eventually to home games, then maybe the powers that be they will notice.I guess Sweet Sixteen appearances are the new Standard. We aren't everyone's Super Bowl, yet we act like we won the Super Bowl by beating a bad Indiana team. Ran off the best recruiter in the game, so Barney could take back the basketball program and hire Mark "The Yes Man" Pope...Congrats
Well, Pope gets auto extensions for making Sweet 16's. Another great contract by Mitch.I guess Sweet Sixteen appearances are the new Standard. I honestly don’t think they care. Look at the football program. That’s where the basketball program is headed or what Mitch Barnhart wants it to go towards. Just enough fans to keep them in the black while the admin pockets the rest. When fans quit traveling to away games and eventually to home games, then maybe the powers that be they will notice.
I’m pretty confident we’ll miss the tourney anyway. Lose Saturday and the Alabama game and our path towards an at-large bid looks mighty improbable. No way we’re going to do well enough in the SEC with just an Indiana win in the pre-conference schedule.Pumpers will act like this is the best thing ever, win in the 2nd round and UK will be a 1 seed.
Speaking of guys who actually accomplished that -- Randle and the Harrison twins could take these current scrubs 3 on 5 I bet.
That's a bit of an exaggeration imo. Tubby only finished the season outside the top 20 twice (last two seasons). We were seeded 2,3,5,2,4,1,1,2,8,8 during Tubby's tenure. I wouldn't call twice annually but maybe it works for you.I remember Tubby's final years when it seemed like we were in the 8-9 game annually, that isn't good enough and it shouldn't be acceptable now.
I'm sure that is what you will be rooting for. Whatever it takes to justify your desire to fire the coach.I’m pretty confident we’ll miss the tourney anyway. He clearly stated Tubby’s final years and the last two years we were an 8 seed. How hard is it to read. That's a bit of an exaggeration imo.
