I thought the hunt was for conflicts of interest/self dealing. For example - if there is a money manager charging higher than market rate to manage the endowment, that could add up to millions of dollars that should never have been spent and instead should have been invested to better grow the endowment.
Will this ruling allow transparency retroactive to the Freeh "report" days?
It is a shame that the BOT of an institution of higher education has secrets that need to be hidden....
