From hole in the wall to chain restaurants, where is the best place to get a steak? What is the best steak you've ever had? I'm curious because as to know your answers. The best steak place I've ever been to was Boi Na Braza in downtown Cincinnati. It's 40 bucks per person but it's all you can eat steak they kept bringing out to you on slabs with a giant salad bar to boot the place is amazing and well worth it. they have everytime of steak imaginable. In your opinion, what restaurant has the best steak you've ever eaten?

The one I ate at was in South Beach. The menu is actually a football with the menu painted on one part. Its placed on a kicking stand on the table and autographed by Don Shula. They sell the "menus" for a mere $350.

St. Elmos (Indianapolis) NY strip - rare. That said, I've also had some underwhelming pieces of beef over there too.

$40 for All You Can Eat, does not exactly scream "Great Steak". I may be wrong about that, I have never tried the place, but general rule of thumb, all you can eat does not = fine dining. JMHO.

St. Elmos - Indy

Stockyard - Nashville

Have not really ever been to the premier steak places while on vacation, kind of bummed that is my list. All though Elmos can hang with anybody, but Stockyard being second on my list, my steak game leaves a lot to be desired.

My favorite from my time living in NYC was Old Homestead followed by Peter Luger's and Sparks.

Its a really good brazillian style experience. Not the typical golden corral. Although I agree with you in principle.

Had several great ones. An under the radar pick for me is Ye Olde Steakhouse in Knoxville.

Brazuca in Louisville at 4th st Live is one of those Brazilian all you can eat joints. I haven't been but anyone I know that has been says it's well worth it and will go again. However, I can't do those gut buster type meals, I cut out all you can eat, stuffing your face meals. I don't even go for seconds at home! Feel much better though, plus not having diabetes and being back under 185 is a win for me.
