Not too familiar with what had been going on at the end of the Boren era and under Gallogly, but the rumbling I've heard is that money was not being spent wisely and donations have pretty much dried up. From those I've talked to in Norman, the consensus is that Gallogly's resignation did not come soon enough.

My take was that Gallogly was brought in to be the hatchet man, fire the freeloaders, expose the financials for what they were, bring in sunlight to expose and clean the situation. He did that. Next step is rebuild..

Donation falloff was from realizing what had been hidden for years and years....The massive debt OU has , was built up during the Boren reign. These men accusing Boren of sexual harassment are telling their stories from back when Boren was OU President.
