Looking like the perfect weather game with a weak cold front sliding through by the end game. With any OK cold front passage, always a risk of a pop up storm. On Saturday, some warmer air aloft should cap things from popping. Winds should stay at or below 20mph starting southwesterly, then switching to northwesterly by late in game. Temps should max out in the 82-84 range. A fast track in Norman this week.

Forecast updates hold the front across far N. Oklahoma into the Texas Panhandle. This will mean probably a warmer and more humid forecast with a sustained south wind at 10-20. Highs on Sat. may be closer to 88 during game. Scattered clouds will yield no rain. Fast track in Norman. Now time to take care of business.

Forecast models are trending cloudy and cooler for the game. The low level jet axis aligns along the I-35 corridor for Sat. This could bring sprinkles or very light rain at times with likely a pretty solid low level cloud deck. Highs should top out in upper 70s given the changed up forecast with low clouds hanging tough. Very nice weather even still.

As you well know there is plenty of cold water dumping from the clouds from MPLS north for 100's of miles; the gophers could outlast the hawkeyes outdoors
