Carolina is the most dangerous last place team ever.
And Cards can be the most dangerous 1st place ACC team. I do believe the fans in the arena will be crazy and so will the team. Go Cards!
Worries me that they have lost 6 straight. Not sure if that has ever happened to Roy. They may play with their hair on fire just out of pride. I hope they save it for their rival, Duke.
Anthony makes them better. No doubt. They have to be considered a seriously wounded tiger (AKA Tarheel) so this game today will probably be their 'super bowl' consolation game since Duke got them. The Cards best bring it today or it will be a very long afternoon.
They have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in a few games, so I'm sure they'll be hungry to finish strong against a ranked opponent.
Just as I was concerned about. The Cards came out flat and have only 10 points in 7 minutes of play. The good thing is the Tarheels only have 9

Yes and he needs to take better care of the basketball too. He has a very high ceiling so we know he's going to get much better.
Carolina is down 2 players today. Their best big man Garrison Brooks is sick. Roy really has to feel snake bitten but I’m not shedding any tears.

Yeah, they didn't. That's been my biggest complaint about this team this year. They don't ever try to keep their foot on the gas once getting a team down. They just seem to go right into cruise mode.
Good win. This sets up the show down Monday night against FSU. They punched us in the mouth in Louisville. Time for some payback.

At least they finished strong today. But yeah going into cruise mode too early can be dangerous as we know all too well.
That was a depleted opponent but I'm still glad to see UofL take care of the game with relative ease. As much as coaches try to convince kids, they still can't help but to see what the other team has on the floor. There were maybe 2 or 3 guys that I saw in the UNC uniform that looked like solid players.
Perspective.
Even with all the crap we’ve endured over the last 5 years, we haven’t fielded a team as awful as UNC has this season.
Even our NIT year, we were a fluke loss the the #1 overall seed away from making the tournament with an interim coach with no experience.

I really feel bad for UNC......I bet their players can barely make it to their imaginary classes on Monday.
I was blessed to get to go to my one game this year. UNC looked totally awful. During time outs, Roy was only keeping them in the huddle for about 2 minutes and then sending them back out onto the court. They were out there with the U of L Dance Team at one point. Full give up mode.
Roy hasn't had much humbling between KU and UNC it's been wine and cheese for so long. Then he just skates on a long term academic scandal that should have ruined him. He's certainly unequipped to handle having an atrocious team. He probably threw in the towel after their 6th or 7th loss. Dagnabit . Awww shucks.
He built some goodwill with their fans with the 2016 Runner-up and 2017 title. And the last 2 years they had good teams going into the tournament.
This is a down year where they’ll return some and add a dag’um good class of recruits. They’ll be back in 2021
No doubt about that. UNC had the wheels come off their season and it's basically done. They do have a chance of winning the ACC tourney to get the auto bid to the NCAA tourney but it is a slim one. I won't be shedding any tears for Roy or UNC. They'll be back soon enough.
